Junior Orchestra

The Filipino American Symphony Junior Orchestra (FASJO) is the advanced youth ensemble in the Filipino American Symphony Orchestra’s Education Program. Open to middle and high school students, it provides high-level orchestral training through weekly rehearsals, sectional work, and personalized one-on-one coaching with professional FASO musicians.

As part of their training, members perform a diverse repertoire that spans classical works, world music, popular selections, and culturally rich pieces, fostering both technical skill and artistic versatility.

The Junior Orchestra has appeared at prestigious venues such as the Walt Disney Concert Hall and The Colburn School, as well as at community and cultural celebrations. These performances give students valuable opportunities to share their music, build confidence, and connect with audiences.

Through its commitment to excellence and cultural engagement, the FASO Junior Orchestra prepares young musicians to reach their full potential while enriching the community through music.
