String Classes
Each school year, FASO musicians offer weekly string classes for violin and cello as part of FASO’s Education & Outreach Program.
We provide free instruments and welcome all aspiring musicians regardless of skill level. Enthusiasm to learn how to play a string instrument is the only prerequisite.
Our curriculum encourages students to explore a variety of genres beyond Western classical music and instills an appreciation of Philippine culture through music. Our classes also teach the fundamentals of music theory.

College Scholarship
Earn $1,000 for college with your response to the prompt “What does Phillipine music mean to you?”
