Workshops

Do you want to improve your performance technique?

Each school year, we hold a series of intimate and interactive workshops. We strive to develop the skill, technique and musicianship of our student musicians.

Each session is a master class led by one of our music clinicians and limited to approximately eight participants. Students will work one-on-one with the clinician and perform a piece of their choice for their fellow workshop participants.

After the performance, the clinician will identify and solve the student’s performance issues. The clinician will also welcome feedback from other workshop participants. We believe that an evaluation of our weaknesses, with the help of specialists and peers, make us stronger individuals — in music and in worlds outside of music!

Our adjudicated Music Education & Outreach Recital culminates our workshop series at the end of the school year. All students who participated in the school year’s workshop series will have an opportunity to perform and showcase what they have learned. Students will receive feedback from a panel of jurors.
